Hola! I’m Juli, short for Juliana.

Born in Colombia, a land full of vibrant colours, deep roots and rich traditions. For the past 16 years, I’ve made my home by the sea in Bournemouth, England. It’s where I’ve found rhythm, stillness, and a deep sense of belonging.

You’ll often find me cycling or walking along the coast, taking in the salty breeze, dipping in the sea nearly all year round, or unwinding at my local yoga studio. Being close to the ocean grounds me — it reminds me to slow down, breathe, and stay connected to what matters.

I’ve always been drawn to the sensory world; the earthy scent of warm cacao, the warmth of sun on my skin, the beauty of sunsets, the joy of tasting something for the first time. Exploring new places, cultures, and foods lights me up and keeps me curious.

My journey with cacao began in 2021, born from a deep love for the plant and a desire to share it in a way that feels honest and heart-led. I was first introduced to cacao through a dear friend who has worked closely with farmers for over 15 years, sourcing directly in a way rooted in care, respect and sustainability. Inspired by their approach and the connection I felt through cacao, I knew I wanted to share it in my own way — and that’s how CAO came to life.

What started as a personal ritual quickly became something I felt called to offer to others. A way to connect, to pause, to come home to ourselves.

Thank you for being here. I’d love to connect and hear your story too.
